Tokyo Downtown Cool Media Festival is the first event of the history held in an aim of promoting production of glocal contents (local resources packaged for global market) through strengthening collaboration among prominent East Asian film-making universities, digital artists of the world, and Japanese youth, educational institutions and local areas.

TDCMF consists of following contents ; [Excellent Student films from East Asian] shows works of outstanding East Asian creators among a coming generation. [The Dreaming Series] is animation of Aboriginal stories that have been succeeded in oral for over 40,000 years. In [Cool Media], promotion videos of local contents visualized in a model based on Japanese tradition will be shown. This Event will offer a matching opportunity for East Asian creator and industrial producers of Japan Cool contents.
